I’m looking for this product… where is it?
DRD has created over 4,000 products over its lifetime, so honestly there is a fair chance nobody immediately remembers where it is. 😂
A few things you can try:
- Check whether the product is currently at an event.
- Search the DRD Marketplace store.
- We’re building a searchable catalogue for this website, which should make tracking down old products considerably less painful.
- If you still can’t find it, contact a CSR. We’re happy to try and help.
Some very old products may simply be discontinued.
Do you make custom builds?
Nope. We know, we’re horrible people.
We do encourage suggestions though, and quite a few customer suggestions have eventually become releases. Drop ideas into the #suggestions channel on Discord.
I bought a building with a rezzer and it won’t rez the entire build. What do I do?
Wait 12 hours for it to rez… orrrrr:
Check that your parcel has enough available Land Impact and that the build is not trying to rez outside your parcel boundaries.
If it still refuses to cooperate, go into Edit mode and move the rez platform around a little. Give it a jiggle and a wiggle.
My collection uses a soft link instead of a rez box. How do I rez it safely without destroying everything?
Before dragging the soft link from your inventory, make sure you are already in Edit mode. That lets you move and rotate the entire linkset while placing it.
Once you release it, selecting the entire soft link again can be considerably more annoying.
Is the main store itself for sale? What about the crates, forklifts and ruins?
No. WE HAVE THOUSANDS OF ITEMS FOR SALE, REALLYYY???

I bought one of your buildings and want to add a floor or modify it. Can you do it for me?
We can’t modify the building for you.
However, our floors are UV’d so you can apply your own seamless texture or seamless PBR material to them.
I want a custom texture for something. Can you make one for me?
It depends on the product, but generally we do not do custom work.
We do have some custom PSD templates/design files for certain buildings available through Discord. Check the pinned information/announcements there.
My guests can’t open my door. What do I do?
Leave them outside to rot.
Or hold-click the door to open the owner menu. Yes, it really is that simple.
What exactly is included in this giant fatpack?
The best place to check exact pack contents is the DRD Marketplace store. Large packs normally have their contents listed there.
This item is PG but I want it Adult for my pixel-sex fantasies. Can you make an Adult version?
We do not make custom Adult engines for random PG products.
For some furniture, it may be possible to use an Adult animation engine you already own.

I can’t find this sculpted shoe from 2010. Where is it?
Deep in Jaimy Hancroft’s inventory lies a dark pit containing ancient sculpted-item folders.
Many of these folders have unfortunately become empty or disappeared through years of failed logins, inventory bugs and general Second Life nonsense.
Some things are gone foreverrrrrrr.
How much Land Impact is this, or what is the footprint of this huge build?
We’re working on making this information easier to find through the catalogue.

Can I see this building in-world before buying it?
We’re still working on a temporary demo rezzer.
For now you can visit the large demo platform containing several of our popular large builds.
If the build you want is not there, ask a CSR when somebody is available. You can also ask in group chat — other DRD customers may already have the build rezzed publicly somewhere.
Is there a snow roof for this building?
Probably not.
Some older Winter Add-On products are still available on Marketplace. Newer snow add-ons exist only for selected buildings.
The vendor says the product is Mod, but I received something marked No Mod. YOU SCREWED ME. What do I do?
The scripts inside the object are probably No Mod, which can make the inventory display confusing even though the actual object is modifiable.
If the object itself genuinely isn’t Mod, contact us. Nearly everything DRD sells is intended to be modifiable. We are not tyrants. 😂
I don’t want to smoke weed in my couch. Can I remove the smoking props?
Why? Do you have a small child living in your dank graffiti-covered couch?

Concentrate very hard like a Jedi and maybe it will appear in your inventory.
We probably forgot to add it. Shame on us.

Can you make a clean/non-bloody version of this product?

Can I remove these awesome spiderwebs from the product?
We do not know why you would want to, but yes.
Spiderwebs used on DRD products are generally separate objects so they can be removed.
Can I gift this product in-world?
Yes:
1. Left-click the vendor.
2. Choose Gift.
3. Enter the recipient’s name.
4. Submit.
5. Pay the vendor.
6. Choose whether to send it directly or include a message.
Can I combine my gift cards?
Yes. Send Jessie Dannitza an in-world folder containing the cards you want combined plus a notecard explaining what you need. She has more patience for this than the rest of us and will sort it out as soon as she can.

How do I get a redelivery?
Visit the DRD redelivery terminal at the main store entrance.

There is a discount on a Mega Pack / large collection. Is that temporary?
Collections and large packs normally include a built-in discount, usually somewhere around 20–40%, depending on the size and price.
Size matters.
My vendor says BOOTING or sent the wrong item. What do I do?
Kick it very hard.
Or, preferably, tell us immediately because that needs fixing ASAP.
I only want one small item from a pack. Can I buy it separately?
Usually yes if you ask nicely. Contact Death Row Designs Resident.
Can I top up my gift card?
Yes. Use the gift-card top-up terminal and make sure you are wearing the card you want to top up.
I lost half my inventory. All my DRD stuff is gone and now I’m sad forever. What do I do?
Most products can simply be redelivered.
If redelivery is unavailable, DRD has purchase records going back many years. Contact Death Row Designs Resident.
For very old gachas/no-copy items, try Linden Lab support and the usual inventory-recovery steps first.
Can I exchange old gachas for copy versions?
No.
Customers were given a long exchange period when gachas were retired. The exchange machines are gone and many former gacha products are now sold separately.
Will DRD ever make gachas again?
No.
We will also not replace them with meepons, miepons, chachas, jujumachines, gochapons, chichipons, gogopinochis, bleeps, bloopediboops, shitty tier systems or whatever other weird sales-machine trend appears next.

What is the DRD store group?
Our official in-world group is Death Row Design.
It costs 5L to join and includes store updates, group gifts and other member perks.
What are the rules for the in-world group?
- Don’t pester DRDBOT too much.
- Try not to use the bot immediately after somebody asks a CSR a question or in the middle of conversations.
- Feel free to chat about Second Life, destinations, other stores, etc.
- Keep excessive landmark spam to IM where possible.
- Don’t blatantly advertise your own store/business/releases.
- No spam or begging.
- English only in main group chat.
- Keep the adult chat at least vaguely reasonable.
- Don’t be a fucking dick.
- Respect each other.
- Glitch, you are still on thin ice.
What does DRDBOT do?
Type !commands in group chat to receive the current command list.
For example, !csr returns current CSR information.
Where are the group gifts and how many are there?
TOO MANY.

Why does the Retro Box exist?
Some products eventually become old, outdated, buggy, badly built/textured by modern DRD standards or simply no longer something we want to sell individually at full price.
But some people still find them useful for roleplay, photography, nostalgia or general Second Life hoarding.
So instead of deleting them from existence, we threw them into one giant goodie box.
Retro products are sold as-is and generally do not receive fixes or refurbishing.
How do I get an update for the Retro Box?
You receive lifetime Retro Box updates.
As products are discontinued, the box may continue to grow.
If you missed an update, use the redelivery system to obtain the latest version.
When is the next DRD sale?
Major DRD sales generally happen around:
- Black Friday
- Summer
Exact dates vary. Watch store notices, Discord and Flickr for announcements.
What is excluded from DRD sales?
Gift cards, the Retro Box and products already in the Outlet section are normally excluded.
What is the Outlet section?
The Outlet contains older products already permanently marked down, commonly by around 50–70%.
Because they are already heavily discounted, they do not receive additional standard sale discounts.
How do DRD sales work?
DRD sales normally use cashback: you pay the normal vendor amount and the discount percentage is returned to you.
Are the sale prices already marked down or do I receive a refund/cashback?
There is normally cashback. Always check the announcement for exclusions and products that are already permanently marked down.
Can I purchase products with store credit during a sale?
Unfortunately this can be restricted by the vendor system. If store-credit purchases do not qualify for cashback, do not expect a separate refund.
Can I get a discount for leaving a Marketplace review or promoting DRD?
No. We cannot be bought.
You can only bribe us with cupcakes.

I have a hunt question. Where do I go?
Hunts normally happen around Halloween. During an active hunt, everything you need to know will be available through the DRD website.
Why can’t I access or purchase this product?
You may have been banned from the vendor system.
We do not ban people particularly often, so there was probably a reason. Contact Death Row Designs Resident if you think something is wrong.
Can you unban me from your land or vendor system?
Depends what the ban was for.
You may need to convert to the Church of DRD and sell your soul first.
My gift card was blocked / I’m banned from your vendor system
Accounts involved in gift-card abuse/exploitation may be blocked from the vendor system.
DRD takes abuse of promotional/gift-card systems seriously. If your account has been banned, contact Death Row Designs Resident.
If a card was blocked due to abuse, it may not be reinstated.
Please remember that DRD is a real business and these systems cost real money. Enjoy the offers; just don’t be a dick.
